ForgeDesk targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA for forgedesk.dev. Accessibility is an ongoing engineering and content responsibility, not a one-time score.
2. Features already provided
- A visible skip link and semantic page landmarks
- Keyboard-focus indicators for interactive controls
- One logical page heading followed by structured section headings
- Text alternatives or decorative treatment for imagery
- Responsive reflow for phone, tablet, desktop, and browser zoom
- Support for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference
- A persistent control to pause decorative motion
- Consent controls that do not block access to the underlying content
3. Testing and current status
On September 26, 2026, the website was reviewed with automated browser accessibility checks, keyboard navigation, responsive layouts, focus visibility, and reduced-motion behavior. The earlier accessible-name mismatch on the homepage exploration link was removed, and low-contrast micro-labels were strengthened.
Automated testing cannot establish full WCAG conformance. A comprehensive audit with multiple screen readers, Windows High Contrast mode, voice input, 200% and 400% zoom, and users with disabilities is still required before ForgeDesk claims formal conformance.
4. Report an accessibility barrier
If something prevents you from using the website or app, email accessibility@forgedesk.dev. Include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format or accommodation that would help.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and provide a status or reasonable alternative as soon as practical. The mailbox must be activated and monitored before this statement is published.
5. Compatibility and third parties
The public site is designed for current versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile. The desktop application uses Microsoft WebView2 on Windows 10 and 11. Optional third-party pages, connectors, models, and tools have their own accessibility support, which ForgeDesk does not control.
