1. Storage we use
Cookies are small values stored by a browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can remember a setting without sending it automatically with every web request. ForgeDesk uses one necessary local-storage record for your privacy choice and, only after consent, Google Analytics cookies.

The live cookie set can change if the website adds or removes a service. This table must be rechecked against a clean-browser network and storage audit whenever tracking code changes.
2. Necessary privacy preference
The consent preference is necessary to remember and apply your choice. It is stored locally and is not sent to Google. If storage is blocked, the choice applies for the current page view and may need to be made again later.
3. Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is optional. ForgeDesk uses basic consent mode: the Google script is not requested, Google receives no analytics ping, and no analytics cookie is set unless you select “Accept analytics.” Rejecting analytics does not reduce website or download functionality.
After consent, ForgeDesk sends limited page-view and download-link events. Query strings are removed from page locations. Advertising storage, ad-user data, ad personalization, Google Signals, enhanced measurement, granular location/device reporting, and user-provided identifiers are disabled.

4. Accept, reject, or withdraw
Use the button below or the “Privacy choices” control in every page footer. Accept and reject are presented without making either choice a condition of using the site.
When you withdraw, ForgeDesk sends a denied consent update, disables further Analytics events in the page, and attempts to remove cookies whose names begin with _ga. You can also clear forgedesk.dev site data in your browser.
If your browser sends a supported Global Privacy Control signal, ForgeDesk keeps optional analytics off and does not offer an in-page override while that signal is active.
5. Changes and contact
We will update this notice and its effective date if storage practices change. Contact privacy@forgedesk.dev with questions. The mailbox must be active and monitored before production publication.
