ForgeDesk is a Windows-first local AI workspace for conversations, project planning, coding, image creation, browser tasks, and automations. Start small in Ask, inspect the plan, and move into Build when you want the agent to act.

BUILD / LOCAL AI CODING AGENT

Edit, test, preview, review.

ForgeDesk combines a local coding agent with the controls needed for real project work. It can edit files and run commands, then surface changed files, tests, previews, and unresolved limits.

CREATE / LOCAL IMAGES

Generate and edit images locally.

Create raster images with a local Qwen image model, use references for edits, and save finished results into a project. Text and image models share the GPU queue so ForgeDesk can release memory between jobs.

ForgeDesk can work through managed browser checks, your own Chrome or Edge session, and selected Windows apps. Sensitive steps remain permissioned, and active computer use is visibly indicated.

Schedule bounded work.

Create reminders, scheduled tasks, and bounded loops while ForgeDesk is running. Desktop and paired-phone notifications can tell you when work completes, fails, or needs a decision.

PRIVACY & CONTROL

Local-first, with honest boundaries.

The core workspace stores projects, settings, histories, and local-model work on your PC. “Local-first” does not mean every optional feature is offline.

Update checks contact forgedesk.dev. Web research visits sources. Gmail, GitHub, MCP servers, remote model endpoints, and phone access contact the services you configure. ForgeDesk separates those capabilities so you can decide what a task may use.

Review before authority

Supervised mode asks before tools act. Full access is a deliberate setting and can affect files outside a project. Administrator commands use a separate Windows approval session.

Review after action

Completion evidence shows changed files, checks that actually ran, and known limitations. Checkpoints help restore eligible project files when later changes have not made that restore unsafe.

REMOTE / SAME WORKSPACE

Keep your PC in charge.

ForgeDesk Remote can pair an Android phone with the workspace running on your PC through private Tailscale HTTPS. The PC remains the host and must be awake, online, and signed in.

Paired devices can have meaningful authority, including task and access controls, so pairing codes expire quickly and devices can be unpaired from Settings.

Build with local AI on Windows.
